We collect, analyze and monitor safety information and side effects including adverse event data and have a team dedicated to overseeing the safety of Gilead's medicines.
Patient safety is paramount to us, and we manage safety data relating to our treatments with the utmost rigor. While we continuously evaluate the safety of our therapies, it is often not possible to detect every potential side effect associated with a medicinal product during clinical trials, so it is important to continue to report safety data to us once a medicine is authorized.

Gilead issues a general conformity certificate for each of its products to attest that they adhere to all applicable regulations, including child-resistant packaging, in accordance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.
