GAIN's Mission
The mission of the Gilead Asian Interest Network (GAIN) is to promote a culture of inclusion and diversity through continual learning. GAIN seeks to bring awareness to the diverse cultures that represent Asian employees and strengthens the voices of its members by:
- Offering employees access to leadership opportunities
- Providing opportunities for employees to develop and grow, and to access innovative concepts and unique solutions to challenges at Gilead
GAIN has since become my creative outlet for promoting inclusion, networking, and mentoring opportunities, providing me with confidence and a sense of purpose within my community. This journey has not only allowed me to develop my leadership skills and build an amazing team but has also given me a profound sense of belonging and purpose. As I continue to grow at Gilead, my passion lies in giving back, developing talent, and sharing knowledge, inspired by the amazing mentors and opportunities I have encountered along the way.

GAIN Impact
GAIN Circles
GAIN Circles is a six-month program designed to facilitate personal connection and professional mentorship between GAIN members, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development.
Asian Mental Health
Every May, GAIN highlights Mental Health Awareness and Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. GAIN addresses mental health from the lens of the Asian community, bringing in experts and spotlighting employee experiences as well as the resources available.
Cultural Celebrations
GAIN celebrates a variety of holidays important in Asian cultures including Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Nowruz and Diwali.
