We believe that all people should have access to quality healthcare.
Through the Zeroing In: Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) grant program, we aim to support organizations working to increase the overall health and wellness of communities most impacted by HIV around the world.

Program and Purpose
We recognize the vital role community-based and grassroots organizations play in delivering high-quality, supportive HIV prevention and care services to key populations. Through Zeroing In, we support organizations with programs that align with established international and country-specific EHE goals. Relevant programs include local community programming, multi-organization community-driven projects and coalition-led proposals from organizations collaborating to end the epidemic.
Projects prioritize key populations as described in local EHE plans and centered on one or more of our three focus areas.
Focus Areas
Comprehensive HIV Innovation Programs
Efforts supported through the Zeroing In program include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative non-clinical testing programs
- Supportive service programs
- Comprehensive HIV prevention programs inclusive of biomedical prevention options
Digital Health Innovations
Many Zeroing In program efforts emphasize innovative ideas for creating or improving a nonprofit's technology infrastructure or developing digital outreach strategies to reach key populations.
Community Outreach and Education
Innovative community outreach projects have the potential to reach populations that require greater health support through engagement, education and empowerment.
Grant Funding
Through the Zeroing In program, we've awarded $24 million in grants to help reduce health disparities, improve access to quality healthcare, advance medical education and support local communities most impacted by the HIV epidemic. Zeroing In also provided support for those impacted during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zeroing In: Latin America & The Caribbean (LAC) Region
The LAC Region project supports organizations working to increase the overall health and wellness of populations that have been most impacted by HIV in Latin America and the Caribbean.
We've supported projects that prioritize populations most affected by HIV that provide:
